It's finally time!!!
The 5th Annual V-Rod Homecoming Rally, 2008.
We have 4 weeks to Rally Time and it's time to step up.
The cost of the rally will be $60. It will include T-Shirts, Dyno Shootout, Bike Show, Lunch during bike show, Barbecue Dinner on Saturday, a shot at the Gimmie's and of course the tour of the Harley Davidson Factory, birthplace of the V-Rod.
The Rally will be September 10th-13th, at the Basswod Resort in Platte City, MO.
Registration received before 8-26-08 will be guaranteed a T-Shirt, and DIBS on the tour times for the KC plant.

Like the new, robust chassis on Harley-Davidson's touring machines, news about a brand new V-Rod is only weeks old, but like the touring bikes, our time at the recent '09 H-D model launch presented an opportunity to cop a ride on the new V-Rod Muscle.
The long, low and clean look of this latest VRSC family member strikes a familiar pose to that of the other two V-Rods, the intimidating blacked-out (and now Dark Custom member) Night Rod Special and the more simple but classic-looking V-Rod.

Great news! The Rods finally had their second child. They named him 'Street.' Only trouble is, he and his brother 'V' don't get along too well. Such sibling unrest is unusual for the normally tight-knit Harley families. The typical Harley family of bikes is a very similar set of siblings. Despite the cosmetic variances within each model family, be it Dyna, FX Softail, FL Softail, Sportster, or Electra Glide, the riding experience remains quite similar.

I know my Father loved this site... was a member for awhile. He lived and loved his Vrod as much as he did his family. I just wanted to let this community of wonderful people know my Father, Ray (Vray-PDX) died of a massive Heart attack on Feb 27th. I am just now getting around to letting his internet connections / friends know.
